The background and values that made me a wedding planner
Originally from Normandy, France, I’ve always loved travelling and meeting new people. Being fluent in English allows me to overcome language barriers and immerse myself in the places I visit and the people I meet.
I worked in a small events agency in North Carolina where I had significant responsibilities and was in direct contact with our clients. During my second stay in the USA, I took part in a fundraiser for a children’s hospital. We collected over a million dollars, and it made me realize that I wanted to pursue a career that truly makes a difference.
I returned to France and settled in the Southeast with one conviction: my work should be focused on human values and have a positive impact on my clients’ lives. A final experience as an employee in a wedding planning agency confirmed that I was on the right path, but that I had to do it my way…
These experiences gave me a taste for hard work, entrepreneurship and discipline. I’ve never wanted to work in large corporations and have always preferred more human-sized environments. That’s how closeness, active listening and customer care became part of my business DNA.
Provence, the French Riviera and the hinterland around Nice have become my adopted home and I’ve literally fallen in love with the region. Even after several years, I still feel the same emotion and excitement when I show my clients their wedding venue.
